"Yeah, I yes we are good for now." He said, as he pushed the cart to the next cashier. Mark payed for everything and they walked back to the car. "I’m happy about the things we bought, I think our little Lilly Rose will look wonderful on all of those little clothes you chose for her." He said. "Wanna spend the night at my place today?"
The two waked to the register and paid. Dianna thanked her boyfriend and kissed his cheek, appreciating everything he was doing for her and their baby. They walked outside and Dianna smiled at Mark “Sure, let’s just take this to my apartment first”, she replied as she unlocked her car and started putting the bags in the trunk.
Mark pulled her closer to him and hugged her. “Let’s do this, we won’t talk about that right now, we will just enjoy shopping for our daughter and when we get hime we can decided if we will do that or not, how does that sound?”
Dianna nodded “I’m ok with that”, she said, smiling before they continued to walk through the aisles, getting multiple things for their baby girl. “Ok I think we have enough now. This is going to add up!”, she said, looking inside the cart.
"Uhm, I’m not telling you to move to Texas… I just suggested a trip to the south for like a weekend so you can see your parents, I’m sorry about that." He said, a little upset with her reaction to his attempt to help her.
Dianna nodded “Hmm. I don’t know… Alex is smart. He’s gonna find out some way…”, the blonde replied, frowning, fearing for her life. She had no idea what to do. She missed her parents but feared Alex way too much.
"Baby, that’s not insane, that’s a good idea, I’m sure they’d like to see you and being in Texas will be good, it’s away from everything and I am sure he won’t find you." He said, looking at her. "I know we can have that happen and it will be good, please, let’s do this, I’m serious,"
Dianna hesitated “I can’t just move to Texas! It’s crazy!”, she shook her head “I don’t want to talk about this right now…”, she added before she looked for other things to buy for her daughter.
"Well, they don’t know me, I can go to your town and "accidentally" meet them somewhere and then bring them to Texas, where my parents live, that would trick people, in case anyone saw me… And I could just have you fly to Texas before me."
Dianna shook her head and chuckled “That’s insane…”, she replied. “I hate to think that they’re worried sick but… I just can’t have Alex find me… I don’t know what else to do Mark”, the blonde said, scared.
"Babe, why don’t you call them? If they knew what you went through and all that happened, they will definitely understand you and forgive you for disappearing." He said, holding her hand. "I mean, they dint need to be out of your life, I’m sure they’d be the first ones to hide you if they needed to."
Dianna looked down and sighed “I’m afraid Alex will find out where I am if anyone knows… He’s very smart and he’s probably looking everywhere for me. I miss my parents so much and I’m sure they’re worried sick and probably think I’m dead or something but… I’m so scared…”
"I know, pink would too common for our little princess." He said, smiling and rubbing Dianna’s belly as they kept on walking around the store looking for more things for Lilly Rose. "I cannot wait to call my mom and let her know it’s a girl, she will flip out." Mark smiled.
Dianna grinned, she felt like she was living a dream, well, almost. It wasn’t perfect but, it almost was. When Mark said he couldn’t wait to tell his mom, Dianna smiled and then thought of her own parents “I wish I could say the same… But, no one in my past life even know where I am so…”, she said, frowning, missing her parents.
"I’m glad you said yes to paci, they help quite a bit…" He smiled. "Sometimes that was all that would make Elise calm down when I was watching her." Mark said. "And those are pretty cool colors for a nursery, and unusual too."
Dianna nodded “But it doesn’t mean our little girl is going to want a pacifier”, she replied, shrugging. When Mark said the colors she picked were nice and unusual, Dianna grinned “I like unusual. I didn’t want to make it pink and too normal you know?”
"We don’t need to buy that one specifically, or you don’t want any pacifier?" He asked, unsure if Dianna wanted Lilly to use one or not. Right that moment, when he looked at Dianna, who was checking up some more clothes, he smiled. Two great ideas just popped up into his mind and he couldn’t wait to act on them. "Hey, what theme would you like for her nursery?"
When Mark asked if she wanted their daughter to have pacifiers, Dianna nodded “Yeah maybe a few”. The two went and looked at other clothes, picked out a few more items. Mark asked about a theme and Dianna smiled “Definitely something like dark purple and maybe some white and grey”, she said as she looked at cribs.
"Just like mommy’s sundresses." Mark said, getting it from Dianna and placing it in the cart. "Oh, I’ve seen a pacifier online that, if it falls on the floor, it closes up and doesn’t get dirty."
Dianna smiled “Just like mine!”, she giggled. When Mark mentioned a pacifier that closes up if it falls on the floor, she found that intriguing “Oh, interesting. Not sure if I want something like that but I’d be interested to see it”.
